Roger Bernadina hit a three-run home run and an RBI single and Brandon Phillips added a solo homer in the ninth Saturday to lift the Reds to an 8-3 victory over the Cubs in front of a sellout crowd of 15,241, two shy of the Cactus League record.
It was the third crowd over 15,000 at new Cubs Park, which opened this year. The Cubs set the Cactus League high 15,243, on Thursday against the Mariners, and have three home games remaining this spring.
