No other second baseman has dazzled more in the field during the 21st century than Brandon Phillips of the Cincinnati Reds, and as such, Phillips should be a lock for his fifth Gold Glove.

Since Phillips took over as the Reds’ everyday second baseman in 2006, he’s won four Gold Gloves and deserved a couple more that he didn’t win. Phillips should claim his fifth Gold Glove without much deliberation despite missing 41 games this year.
